Rigoberto Mena

Rigoberto Mena (b. Artemisa, Cuba, 1961) graduated from the Polytechnic Institute of Industrial Design, Cuba 1987 and also studied at San Alejandro Academy. He has traveled throughout Europe to study the great paint masters. In 2011 Mena was selected to be part of the permanent collection of the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de Cuba, after the inauguration of his exhibition “Hablando en Lenguas”. His works have been exhibited in numerous solo shows and group exhibitions in Cuba, Mexico, the United States, Holland, Switzerland, Belgium, England and Germany. His artwork is also shown in the collection of the Museum of Latin American Art, Los Angeles (MOLAA), US. Consejo Nacional de las Artes Plasticas, La Habana, Cuba. Centro de arte Contemporaneo Wifredo Lam, La Habana, Cuba. and Kendall Art Center/The Rodriguez Collection, Miami,Fl, US.
