Alex Ospina Argaez

 

Alex Ospina Argaez (b. 1973, Medellín, Columbia) is a Colombian sculptor and visual artist with more than 20 years of experience. He has dedicated his career to perfecting his craft of monumental metal sculptures made from found materials and objects. Largely self taught, Argaez's pieces are entirely handmade and made from iron, steel, stones, and other found objects that he then welds together. He currently lives in his native Colombia with his family, who are also active and aspiring artists.
