“Nothing exist except atoms and empty space; everything else is opinion”
Democritus
All the pieces in "Empty Space" are frequencies emitted by my body (dictated by the subconscious mind). These are calibration exercises. The final result is a wave (the piece), which, emitted towards the dark matter, will travel the universe until it returns to me again.
Jorge Lavoy
Jorge Lavoy also known for his acting and audiovisual career, introduces us after two years of his personal sample Sensus (F.A.C, 2015), a diametrical change in his visual language. "Empty Space" is definitely a new period in the artist's work. Now we are witnessing pieces of sculptural, pictorial and object character, where work is remarkable with materials such as wood, metal, and resin. The works combine the delicacy/rudeness of the supports to transmit vibrational states since the sample is the result of a very personal process of self-recognition as an energetic entity.
